About 24 Highlands women were out at Susan's beautiful home for the sleepover this past Friday. At one point, I wandered through the house, watching and listening in a little at all the fun groups gathered in different areas - the porch, the living room, the kitchen table, a bedroom or two. Conversations ranging from books to prayer requests to movies to hairstyles to proposal stories to just about anything else flew back and forth with laughter and appreciation.
I had a wonderful time and I know all those who came did, too - and we missed you ladies who couldn't make it! We look forward to the next time we get together.
When is that, you ask? Well!
November 28th - that's the Friday right after Thanksgiving - we'll have another all-night prayer canopy at Highlands in preparation for The Lord's Supper that Sunday. If you haven't yet come to one of these, please plan now to be there (even if you can't stay all night.) It is a precious time of intimacy with our Father and with each other as we lift the concerns of the church up with confidence and praise.
And don't forget that we have a Breakfast & Shopping event on December 6th - details to be announced, but this will likely be somewhere in the Chattanooga area. We'll meet up for breakfast out together, and then you can head off to do Christmas shopping anywhere you please with whomever you please.

got it. sorry to miss the weekend fun. i work every friday night, sad.... hopefully i can make it to a saturday morning thing though.
